CPAP Hose Cover Frequently Asked Questions

Q
What exactly is a CPAP Tube Sock?
A
Happiness and cheer in a soft, hypo-allergenic cloth sleeve.  Each hose cover has an elastic band on each end for a snug fit.  Place our cover over the CPAP machine hose and experience feelings of contentment.  Also an effective Bigfoot deterrent.  (Okay, not really, but when you tame your CPAP machine, you'll feel better, and Bigfoots hate that.)
Q
Can I return my CPAP Tube Sock if it doesn't work out for me?
A
Sure.  We won't take it personally.  As long as you return it undamaged within 10 days of purchase, we'll refund your purchase.  Heck, we'll even throw in shipping.
Q
How long will it take to get my CPAP Tube Sock delivered?
A

US Orders: Shipping within the continental US is via the good ol' USPS.  There's a very good chance that your order will ship the next or even the same business day, but please allow 3-5 business days.

International Orders: We currently ship to the Canada, the UK, and Australia in about 5-10 days.

Q
What the heck is this rainout and washout I keep hearing about?
A
If you use a heated humidifier with your CPAP machine, water can accumulate inside the hose if the warm air cools on its trip from the machine to your mask. If a significant amount of condensation accumulates, it can end up in your face, ruining an otherwise peaceful dream about bunnies and monster trucks.
Q
Will my CPAP Tubesock fix this pesky washout problem?
A

This really boils down to the ambient air temperature of the room where you use your CPAP machine and the settings on your heater/humidifier.  It has been our experience that the thicker covers offer more insulation, resulting in less condensation inside the hose.  However, we've also noticed that even the flannel and cotton blend covers can make a difference.

So, what's with the song and dance?  Well, we can't promise you that our hose covers will solve every single washout problem out there.  We can, however, guarantee that our hose covers will protect you from singing lizard attack.

Q
Do you think that they'll ever clone velociraptors, and that they'll be smart enough to work a doorknob?
A

Possibly.  But I'd worry more about a zombie outbreak.  Man, those things creep me out.
